.North Carolina Requires Additional Information to be Included in
Notice of Sale for Nonjudicial Foreclosures

North Carolina passed a bill requiring that additional information be included in a notice of sale for residential real properties containing rental units. Under the amended law, the notice of sale must include information regarding a tenant’s right to terminate the rental agreement upon 10 days’ written notice to the landlord. The bill becomes effective October 1, 2007.
