Texas Default Workshop Coming In October

UTA’s “Current Trends in Texas Default Servicing” Workshop to be held in Dallas, Texas and is set for October 10th.

The workshop will run from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm and will include lunch. Held at the Hilton Dallas Lincoln Centre by the Galleria Mall, the session will focus on the following topics:

  • Loss Mitigation (Review of origination files)
  • Preforeclosure (Valuation, Repurchase, Tax Transfer Liens, Manufactured Homes, Estate
  • Home Equity Foreclosure (Problem Areas and New Trends)
  • REO and other Post-Sale Issues (Deficiency Laws, Title Issues, Loss Analysis)

The workshop will be moderated by Jim DeLoach, Esq., of Butler & Hosch. Panelists are Jay Jacobs of Land Records of Texas; Mary Speidel, Esq., of Codilis & Stawiarski; Mary Jacque Thompson of EMC Mortgage Services; and Terry Pierson of Saxon Mortgage.
