UTA Nomination Committee Chair Susan Pettem of FIS Default Solutions, has announced that UTA is now accepting nominations for seats on the 2008 UTA Board of Directors. Susan was appointed to the position of Nomination Committee Chair by UTA President, Gary Wisham, of Allied Trustee Services.

This year the Board will be electing three Trustee seats and two Affiliate seats. Terms for each of the seats is for three years, beginning on January 1, 2008 and ending on December 31, 2010.

The Board of Directors oversees the policy, budget and operations of the United Trustees Association, a non-profit corporation.

Members interested in running or nominating a member for a Board position, should complete a Board Candidate Profile Form and submit it to the UTA office by September 6th. A copy of the UTA’s Board Candidate Eligibility Policy is also available.

The Board elections will be held during the association’s annual meeting, held on Monday, October 29th during the UTA annual Education Conference, held in La Jolla. Members who do attend the annual meeting will have the opportunity to vote by proxy ballot prior to the meeting.
