UTA’s Washington Lobby Day a Success – Next Up: California Lobby Day

UTA stormed Olympia in January

UTA’s Lobby Day, January 28th in Olympia, Washington, was a success, as nine members joined UTA’s Washington Lobbyist, Holly Chisa, and met with several lawmakers. Among issues discussed were ‘meet and confer’ and Internet NOTS posting at the Department of Commerce.

UTA will hold its 6th Annual California Lobby ‘Afternoon’ on Tuesday March 11th. Members will meet with their State Assemblyman and Senators after a briefing provides them with talking points from UTA’s California lobbyist, Mike Belote. A dinner event will be held that same evening in Sacramento. Senator Lou Correa, Chair of the Senate Banking & Financial Institutions Committee is the invited speaker.

Attendees can attend either the lobby day events or the dinner event or both.
