UTA’s Regional Dinner Events End Year with LA Dinner

ladinner15UTA’s regional dinner events of the year have completed and the Association would like to thank our speakers and sponsor. This year’s Orange County, San Diego, and Los Angeles dinners were sponsored by Metropolitan News Company. Thank you to VahnBabigian for supporting the cost associated with the dinner events.

The LA and San Diego dinners addressed ‘Municipal Distressed Property Ordinances’ comprehensively with excellent presentations from Randy Newman, Esq., UTA President, Total Lender Solutions (twice); Michelle Rodriguez, Esq., Woodland Hills Mortgage Corp; Phillip M. Adleson, Esq., UTA Corporate Counsel, Adleson, Hess & Kelly; and Martin McGuinn, Esq. Kirby &McGuinn.

This year’s Orange County dinner featured a discussion on Trustee File Transfers moderated by Robin Wright, Esq., Wright, Finlay& Zak with Chris Akin, Ticor Title; Chris Bolger, Pacific Coast Title; Cathe Cole-Sherburn, Trustee Corps; and Kayo Manson-Tomkins, Esq., The Wolf Firm.

Our Sacramento dinner featured Assemblyman Matt Dababneh, Chair of the California Assembly Banking and Finance Committee. The same day featured a ‘lobby day’ and a luncheon event with CMBA and REOMAC with presentations by Jan Lynn Owen, Commissioner of the California Department of Business Oversight and Wayne Bell, the Commissioner of the California Bureau of Real Estate. UTA also held a ‘lobby day’ in Olympia, Washington.

UTA also held two social networking events this year – an event at the TMBA conference in San Antonio and an event at the Irvine Improv.
