Phil Adleson honored

UTA President Randy Newman presented Phil Adleson of Adleson, Hess & Kelly with appreciation and acknowledgement during the Association’s Annual Business Meeting on November 9th during the 40th Annual Education Conference.

“While Phil is quote leaving the board this year as a Director, due to Bylaw term limits – he’ll still, of course, serve on the Board this next year as Counsel,” said Newman.

“Phil’s contributions to UTA are vast,” Newman noted in presenting Adleson with the award. “He wrote our California certification courses – Levels one and two – and he teaches the Level two course every year. He serves on our conference panels every year when asked and has provided stellar case law and legislative updates to our members.   He has led essential and topical classes for our membership on an array of topics from California HOBR to new CFPB rules. We owe Phil a debt of gratitude for making UTA an essential educational resource for the nonjudicial foreclosure industry.”

“Phil has repeatedly lobbied and spoken at city council meetings on a variety of topics, including distressed property registration. He has written California law on behalf of UTA for decades – always serving and protecting the interests of Trustees. He has been an active participant in virtually every UTA event as a dedicated member and he has provided excellent counsel to the Board on many court cases over the years.”
