Long-time member and UTA supporter, Michelle Stephens of the Daily Journal Corporation is retiring on February 29th.
Michelle’s contributions have been recognized for her outstanding contributions to the UTA community. From sponsoring the annual conference to enhancing dinner events and supporting members through the Daily Journal, Michelle’s dedication has been invaluable. In recognition of her unwavering support, Cathe Cole-Sherburn, UTA President, expressed gratitude, stating, “While Michelle will definitely be missed, it’s also exciting to hear that she’s moving on to new endeavors. Michelle has been such a strong supporter,”
Michelle has been with the Daily Journal Corporation for 47 years, most recently as Executive Vice President of its newspapers, and is retiring on Feb. 29. Michelle first became a member of the California Trustee’s Association (now UTA) in 1996.
“I always appreciated being a member of the association and the relationships it brought with so many exceptional people,” said Michelle. At her retirement party held by the Daily Journal. “I’m looking forward to spending time with family, and friends, reading, volunteering, and more Zumba classes!”
