Stephen Hicklin of Bonial & Associates was awarded the Dorothy Schick Veteran Member of the Year Award at the UTA’s annual meeting, held November 11th during the Association’s 44th Annual Education Conference.
Hicklin received the award for his service as a dinner speaker at many UTA regional events, speaking on topics as diverse as legislative updates and compliance issues from the Yvanova case. “Steve has diligently lobbied the California legislative each and every year,” said UTA President David Dutcher, in presenting the award. “And he does so with tremendous knowledge and grace.”
The award honors members for their service and contributions to the Association and the industry and is given to a member who has elevated the Association in its mission to foster and promote the quality of the default services industry through their extraordinary efforts and dedication. Award winners are nominated by UTA’s Committee Chairs and Board Members with a final determination of the winner made by the Board of Directors.
“This award means a great deal, coming as it does from other members of the industry,” said Hicklin. “I am truly grateful to the UTA and its Board of Directors for this honor.”
