Native American Day in California is in September

California Governor Jerry Brown has signed legislation that will recognize a new holiday in the state of California. ‘Native American’ day will be recognized on the fourth Friday of each September. The Governor signed the legislation into law on September 25th. Trustees should note the holiday for future timelines.
