Dale Dykema, who started and ran TD Service Financial Corporation for over 50 years, passed on July 4, 2017, at age 87. He was a long-time member and supporter of California Trustee’s Association, which became United Trustee’s Association. First American Financial Corp. acquired TD Service Financial Corporation in October 2017. Mr. Dykema retired at the time of the sale.
Mr. Dykema served in the Air Force during the Korean War and earned an MBA from the University of Michigan prior to a long and successful career building various companies in the default servicing industry.
“Dale was a kind and generous man,” said Renee Patrick-Nord, UTA member and a long-time employee of Trustee’s Assistance Corp., a subsidiary of TD Service. “He made all of us a part of his family, he knew the employees names and their family members. He will greatly missed,” said UTA member Linda Kidder-Adleson, who was hired by Mr. Dykema and worked for T.D. Service Company for 42 years, prior to the purchase of TD by First American.
