Wine and Canvas

UTA will be offering members three leisurely social networking opportunities at the 40th Annual Education Conference, held November 8-10th in Las Vegas. On Sunday, November 8th, members may participate in the UTA’s 22nd Annual Golf Tournament; a ‘Wine & Canvas’ event; or a Bike Tour of Red Rock Canyon..

The ‘Wine & Canvas’ Event will be held from 2-5 pm. Join your colleagues and friends as talented artists help you create a featured Las Vegas scene while you enjoy wine. You’ll take home your own work of art. Life is too short for blank walls – unleash your inner Picasso! (Registration fee is $75.)

The Bike Tour of Red Rock Canyon will leave the hotel lobby via vans at 8:00 am. Riders will be dropped off for spectacular, mostly downhill 10 mile ride in the beautiful Red Rock Canyons. Actual biking time is between 60 and 90 minutes. (Registration fee is $115)

Tee Time is 8:30 am for UTA’s 22nd Annual Golf Tournament, this year held at Bali Hai. The par-71 course measures 7,002 yards, and affords spectacular views of the Strip’s mega resorts from the fairways. Bali Hai’s unique layout includes teasers like #16, a par-3 island green; #3, a 468 yard par-4 with a creek running the entire right side, balanced with a bunker on the left. Challenging play, breathtaking scenery and first class facilities make Bali Hai a one-of-a-kind golfers paradise that Golf Digest named one of the ‘Top 50 Resort Courses’. (Registration fee is $210.)
