Fannie and Freddie Speakers Highlight Annual Conference

Representatives from Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac highlight the sessions at UTA’s 47th Annual Education Conference, held at the South Point Hotel Casino and Spa in Las Vegas, August 21-23, 2022. Room rates are just $75 per night, Sunday – Tuesday, and $185 per night Friday and Saturday (plus $17 resort fee).

Dean Meyer, Director, Non-performing Loan Management, Freddie Mac, and Todd Barton, Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, Fannie Mae will address post-moratorium servicing and default management issues; the effectiveness of loss mitigation programs; and forecast the future. Erica Johnson-Seck, Vice President, Foreclosure & REO Oversight, Mr. Cooper Group joins the panel moderated by Cathe Cole-Sherburn, Trustee Corps.

This year’s conference will also feature a Bankruptcy Panel with the Honorable August Landis, District of Nevada; the Honorable Scott C. Clarkson, Central District of California; Benjamin R. Levinson, Esq., Law Offices of Benjamin R. Levinson; and Mark S. Blackman, Esq., Barrett, Daffin, Frappier, Treder & Weiss.

Additionally, attendees will attend an Economic Forecast from Rick Sharga, EVP, Market Intelligence, ATTOM; a topical presentation by Dennis A. Davis, PH.D., of Ogletree Deakins on ‘The Push and Pull Between Employers and Employees’; and a comprehensive Western States Case Law panel and Western States Legislative panel with an up to minute report on SB 1323.

In addition to the CLE accredited sessions, this year’s conference features a trade show and a Polynesian-themed Dinner event featuring a 30-minute ‘Show Me The Money’ magic act from Rob Anderson.
