Biography: 

Cathe Cole-Sherburn is a highly experienced professional in the field of real estate mortgage default operations.  As the Senior Vice President of Operations at Trustee Corps, her role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, including audit, compliance, and strategic planning and development of all offices and companies.

With over 35 years of experience in mortgage default, Cathe brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in her current position.  Prior to her role at Trustee Corps, she served a Senior Vice President of First American Trustee Servicing Solutions, where she oversaw and managed the Trustee Division.

Before her tenure at First American Trustee Servicing Solutions, Cathe worked at Routh Crabtee Olsen/Northwest Trustee Services, where she held the position of Director of Operations.  In this role, she played a key role in establishing offices in Arizona, California and Hawaii.

Cathe’s extensive career also includes a 14-year tenure as Director of Operations for the Law Offices of Steven J. Melmet, Inc.  During this time, she achieved significant milestones such as obtaining the Freddie Mac Designations in all states and HUD Foreclosure Commissioner for state of California.

Beyond her professional roles, Cathe is actively involved in industry associations and organizations.  She currently serves as the President of the United Trustees Association and has held various positions within the organization’s Board, including serving as the Education Committee Chair.  Additionally, she is a member of several other professional associations, including the Women in Legal Leadership, American Legal & Financial Network, Mortgage Bankers Association, National Association of Professional Women, the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and CHIEF.

Cathe’s expertise and industry involvement also extend to speaking engagements and educational activities.  She is known to participate as a Moderator and/or Panelist at various industry conferences and provides seminars and training to share her knowledge with others in the field.
