Biography: 

Erica Jones is a Partner in the Foreclosure Department of BDF Law Group. She has been with the firm since 2008, and serves as Managing Attorney of the firm’s California Foreclosure Department. Erica earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance from San Diego State University and obtained her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in 2002.

Erica is licensed to practice before the United States District Court, Central District of California and with the State Bars of California and Texas. She has worked in the default mortgage default industry for over 17 years and has participated in numerous mortgage servicing training programs. Erica provides strategic guidance to mortgage servicers and lenders on complex default related servicing matters, drawing on her industry experience and practical understanding of foreclosure operations.

Why I would like to be a member of the board of directors and/ or my vision for UTA:

Having been a member of UTA for many years and a regular attendee at its conferences, I appreciate the important role the Association plays in educating, informing, and bringing together professionals in the foreclosure industry. As an attorney working in the field, I understand the challenges our industry faces as laws, regulations, and industry expectations continue to evolve. I would welcome the opportunity to serve on the Board, contribute my experience and perspective, and help support UTA’s continue efforts to educate its members, advocate for the industry and strengthen the relationships that make UTA a valuable resource.
