Biography: 

Steve has been practicing creditor’s rights for (gulp) three decades now.  Litigation, Bankruptcy, even a bit of transactional, and compliance.  He’s had really big (and long) trials.  He’s had really short trials.  He’s had most of the kind in between as well.  Won just about all of them.  He really loves being a lawyer.  Licensed to practice law in California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Texas, Illinois, and Indiana (plus myriad federal districts and Bankruptcy Courts).

Why I would like to be a member of the board of directors and/ or my vision for UTA:

In most organizations I’ve been involved with, I’ve found it rewarding to be involved in the boards.  Meeting people, developing meaningful relationships, understanding the goals and needs of the organization better, and helping them along toward those goals.  I’d like to do that at UTA as well.  As to the ‘vision’ I have for the organization: at a minimum – keeping atop crazy legislative ideas which render the conduct of Trustee sales impossible.
