Biography:

I began doing foreclosures on the beneficiary side in 1987 at Guild Mortgage and continued on the beneficiary side with various companies including Imperial Association of America and First National Bank. I transferred to the trustee side of the industry in 1993 when I took a position as a Trustee Sales Officer at Cal-Western Reconveyance Corp. At that time I became a member of the California Trustee’s Association (CTA) which later became the UTA Having the beneficiary experience proved beneficial in this transition as I was able to view the transaction from the full spectrum. I later worked for a smaller independently owned trustee in Temecula in 2003, where I was introduced to private beneficiaries, which I found very interesting and enjoyable. In 2008 I accepted the position I currently hold with Union Bank. This move rounded out my experience perfectly; beneficiary, large trustee, small private trustee to large in-house trustee for a national bank.

Why I would like to be a member of the Board of Directors and/or my vision for UTA:

UTA continues to be the greatest asset the trustee industry has available. Whether it’s through ongoing education programs, amicus briefs or lobbying efforts, UTA has a strong and influential impact on the non-judicial foreclosure process benefitting every trustee, beneficiary and homeowner within its jurisdiction. In this challenging environment of constant regulatory change, and organization such as UTA is pivotal to the process. I am proud to be a long time UTA member and proud to continue to be part of this dynamic team dedicated to enhance and expand the mission of the UTA for the ongoing success of its members and the industry as a whole.
