I have been the Director of Default Services with Wright Finlay & Zak, LLP (WFZ) since 2013 and have over 36 years of experience in the Default Industry. It has given me practical experience as an independent trustee in a multi-state environment, as well as experience in the default loan servicing and litigation environment.

I have been a member of the UTA (formerly CTA) for many of those 36 years.

As WFZ’s Director of Default Services, I work directly with our servicer clients, manage the oversight of our affiliated third party independent foreclosure trustees, and provide guidance and direction to the default department employees. I work closely with WFZ’s compliance department to ensure that our clients, employees and vendors are aware of any legislative or GSE updates.

I have previously served on the Board of the United Trustee’s Association as Chief Financial Officer in 2010 & 2011 and served as its President in 2012 & 2013. As President, I initiated the first working groups on the California Homeowner Bill of Rights (HOBR) implementation; working groups on the Nevada Affidavits and when mediation is required under the Nevada Homeowners Bill of Rights; the tolling time statute; and property registration ordinances. We held our first webinar on the new CFPB rules and California HOBR. I have moderated or was a panelist on numerous UTA seminars and other organizational events.
