I regularly lecture for UTA for Level I Certification (since 2006) and Foreclosure 101 (since its inception in 2008). I have been involved in the default servicing market for over 25 years representing lenders in both judicial and non-judicial foreclosures. I have extensive experience in all aspects of real estate and currently lecture on various real estate topics, including foreclosures. I am a member of the New York and New Jersey Bars where my practice concentrates in real estate.

As an active participant in the default servicing industry, I am all too aware of the potential for abuse from dishonorable/unethical (and even ignorant) default servicers (most of whom will jump in to the industry as a chance to make a quick buck) and overreaching on the part of the legislature which, while having good intentions, will not take into account the realities of the practice. I believe that the UTA is in the unique position of being in the right place at the right time and can actively inform and influence the actions of others. Being part of the team that can guide the industry in terms of education is incredibly important to me and I would welcome the opportunity to assist the UTA in any way I can.
