UTA Member Chris Padilla Passes

It is with tremendous sadness that we report that long time UTA member Christopher “Chris” Padilla lost his battle with cancer. Chris was 51. Chris founded UTA member Interface, Inc., in 1977. The company, which provides Internet-based mail services, was sold to Prommis Solutions, where Chris served as Vice President and Director of West Coast Ancillary Services.

Chris graduated from USC with a Bachelor of Science in Public Affairs in 1982. He coached Pop Warner Football, flag-football and high school football and had established the Padilla Family Foundation where he made the Barrio Logan College Institute its first beneficiary.

“Chris was a tremendous friend and a wonderful father,” said Margaret Padilla, a long-time UTA Board member, and past Association President. “He will be missed.”
