Notarized Thumbprint Required for Foreclosure Documents in California


Notary thumbprint now required

AB 2326 goes into effect January 1st and will require a notary to obtain a thumbprint in their journal for ANY document involving real property.  Previously foreclosure documents were exempt from the thumbprint requirement.
