Nevada Mediation Program Proposes Rule Changes

New rules proposed

The Nevada Supreme Court, administrator of the Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program (FMP), has issued an order to review the FMP Rules. Many of the recommended rule changes are problematic for lenders and servicers and may impact Trustees.

Members may review the proposed comments and send their thoughts and suggestions on the proposed rule to our office. UTA will be submitting comments to the court. The comment period deadline is July 3rd, so members are asked to provide their comments to the Association by end of June. A hearing will be held on the comments on July 9th.
