UTA's 4th Annual California Lobby Day & Dinner is March 20th

Lobby Day is fun and easy

UTA will hold its 4th Annual California Lobby Day on Tuesday March 20th. Members will meet with their State Assemblyman and Senators after a briefing provides them with talking points from UTA’s California lobbyist, Mike Belote.  A dinner, featuring Mike Belote will be held that same evening in Sacramento.  Belote will discuss the legislative landscape in the California legislature.

“It’s imperative that UTA members express the other side of the story when it comes to the trustee and nonjudicial foreclosure law,” said Ron Roup, Esq., Roup & Associates, UTA’s Legislative Committee Chair. “Too often the emotions reign on this issue without a view to the factual implications of the regulation and how it will be implemented, and the result are laws that create standards that are impractical for everyone.”

Attendees can attend either the lobby day events or the dinner event or both.
