UTA Extension Request for Previously Noticed Sales in LA County Denied

UTA's request for
extension denied
The Los Angeles County Superior Court has denied UTA’s request for an extension to the December 31st, 2011 deadline after which trustee’s sales were to be banned on L.A. County Courthouse property.
The court had issued a General Order prohibiting commercial activity at the courthouse. The court initially gave trustee’s 6 months’ notice to find new locations in L.A. County.
While UTA attempted to facilitate an extension of the deadline for compliance with the new rule, members will now have to renotice sales at a new location, despite difficulty in obtaining new public square sales sites in LA County.
