Challenging Legislative Session For The UTA In Nevada

The role of trustees in the foreclosure process attracted significant attention by the 76th session of the Nevada State Legislature given the state’s staggering numbers of foreclosures. Legislation on nearly every aspect of a trustee sale came under deep scrutiny this session – including who can and cannot serve as a Trustee in the State. UTA’s Nevada lobbyist, Rocky Finseth provides an update on the various legislation in Nevada and Robin Prema Wright, Esq., Wright, Finlay & Zak provides a summary of the new law – AB 284 and AB 273.
