Fannie Mae Manager To Join “Resolving Disputes with Borrower” Session

Kimberly Evans, Senior Business Engagement Manager at Fannie Mae will join a panel with Scott Sibley of Nevada Legal News, Cathe Cole-Sherburne of First American Title, and Rosemary Bare and Sheryl Valvo of Bank of America to discuss dispute avenues with the borrower. The session will be held on Monday, November 8th during the Association’s 35th Annual Education Conference in Las Vegas.
The session will cover:
- Mediation – with an emphasis on the Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program.
- What’s expected from the federal HAMP program both in terms of what lender requirements are and how that impacts the foreclosure process; as well as what the trustee’s role is.
- Loan modification disputes.
- Loss Mitigation techniques.
Kimberly Y. Evans has more than 8 years experience in Mortgage Banking and Default Servicing. She currently serves at Fannie Mae as an MHA Senior Business Engagement Manager on the Government Programs & New Initiatives Team, primarily focusing on President Obama’s Making Home Affordable Program. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, administration, implementation, training and execution of the MHA Programs. Kimberly also has experience in Asset Recovery (REO), Evictions, Claims, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Vendor Management through management of the Fannie Mae Retained Attorney Network and Attorney Fees and Costs analysis.
