Amendments to Foreclosure Mediation Rules Explained

The Nevada Supreme Court has amended the Foreclosure Mediation Rules. Michael R. Brooks, Esq., and Paul W. Melo, Esq., of Brooks Bauer provide members with a summary of the amendments, which are effective June 1, 2010. The changes include new forms required to be served with the NOD; A new triggering event and new time period to complete mediation; changes affecting owner-occupied housing; and attorney representation at mediation.
