MBA Chairman to Join UTA Judges Panel at Annual Conference
David G. Kittle, CMB, Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) will join Judge Michael S. McManus, Chief US Bankruptcy Judge of the Eastern District of California and Judge Christopher M. Klein, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, Eastern District of California and the Chief Judge of the Ninth Circuit Bankruptcy Appellate Panel, in the exciting UTA exciting session “Order in the Court”, held on Monday November 16th during the Association’s 34th Annual Education Conference in Las Vegas. The session will be moderated by Donna LaPorte, Esq., of Wright, Finlay & Zak. The session will cover loan modification after discharge; post-petition fees and charges and will emphasize cramdowns – an issue that will not go away.
David Kittle began is mortgage banking career in 1978 with American Fletcher Mortgage Company. As a top producing loan officer, he moved to the management side in 1986. Kittle opened his own company, Associates Mortgage Group, in 1994 and sold it in 2006. He is currently Executive Vice President of Vision Mortgage Capital, LLC, a division of American Home Bank located in Pennsylvania.
Kittle is past president of both the Louisville and Kentucky Mortgage Bankers Associations. He is pat Chairman of MBA’s Political Action Committee, MORPAC; former Vice Chairman of MBA’s Residential Board of Governors and has served on MBA’s Board of Directors since 2004. Kittle was elected Vice Chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association in 2006, became Chairman-Elect in October 2007 and was installed as Chairman October 2008. He has testified before the United States Senate on numerous occasions regarding mortgage banking.
