UTA Accepting Nominations for Board of Directors
UTA Nomination Committee Chair Lorrie Womack of Cal-Western Reconveyance has announced that UTA is now accepting nominations for seats on the 2010 UTA Board of Directors.
This year the Board will be electing two Trustee seats and four Affiliate seats. Terms for each of the seats is for three years, beginning on January 1, 2010 and ending on December 31, 2012.
The Board of Directors oversees the policy, budget and operations of the United Trustees Association, a non-profit corporation.
Members interested in running or nominating a member for a Board position, should complete a Board Candidate Profile Form and submit it to the UTA office by September 5th. A copy of the UTA’s Board Candidate Eligibility Policy is also available.
The Board elections will be held during the association’s annual meeting, held on Monday, November 16th during the UTA annual Education Conference, held in Las Vegas. Members who do attend the annual meeting will have the opportunity to vote by proxy ballot prior to the meeting.
