New Oregon Forms Available Soon

In the last issue of the UTA eNews, we reported that SB 628, legislation mandating enhanced mediation notice requirements to grantors in Oregon, had been signed into law and that Oregon Department of Business and Consumer Services (DCBS), the agency charged with implementing the bill would update relevant forms several weeks prior to the bill’s operative date (September 29, 2009). Once that form is available, DCBS will post it on its website.

The final law requires only that lenders provide an enhanced mediation notice to grantors and allows grantors to petition lenders for a modification of their loan. Read the previous story on SB 628.
