Ten Indicted in Foreclosure Rescue Scam

A recent article in the Voice of San Diego summarized a plot by ten defendants associated with an alleged foreclosure rescue scam.  The scam victimized more than 400 homeowners in San Diego and Riverside counties.  The defendants were indicted by a grand jury on more than 150 felony counts.

William Hutchings, one of those indicted, had told homeowners that his program would allow them to deed over their property to a company, which would shield it from foreclosure.
