I moved to San Diego from Florida when I was 18 to surf.  I rented a room, attended junior college, transferred to San Diego State University and attended the University of San Diego Law School.  Since then, I became litigation counsel for lenders, servicers, investors, trustees and others in the mortgage industry for more than thirty (30) years.  I have tried more than a hundred bench and jury trials throughout California, resulting in a significant number of published California cases benefitting the mortgage industry.  I have enjoyed the freedom of having my own law firm for twenty five (25 years), which provided me with many opportunities to help raise my four (4) beautiful, smart and strong daughters.  The last one started at the University of Oregon this Fall, making me an “empty nester.”
