Dale K. Pitman

Chief Title Officer, ServiceLink, a Black Knight Company

Dale Pitman is Chief Title Officer for ServiceLink's Default Title Operations. He provides training for the division's title, searching and examining staff, assists with matters involving Trustee's Sale Guarantee and REO title production, claims resolution, and national title underwriting and closing issues for properties in Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington.

Pitman began his career in 1988 as a real estate agent, and then soon moved to Cal Land Title Company, as customer service manager, then worked as searcher, title examiner, new-tract sales Title Officer, Subdivision Title Manager, Residential Title Officer, and Trustee's Sale Guarantee Title Officer. In 1997, Pitman served as Production Manager, then as Default Services Operations Manager for Chicago Title. He has held his current position as Chief Title Officer for the former LPS' TSG Department since May of 2002 and currently holds that position with ServiceLink.

Pitman is a member of the California Land Title Association, the American Land Title Association, the United Trustee's Association and The U.S. Foreclosure Network. He holds Certificates of Level 2 Trustee in CA and Level 1 trustee in NV, and has passed the equivalency exams for Level 2 in AZ and WA. In addition, he has been a regular speaker on foreclosure title related issues at UTA and USFN educational seminars and conferences and participates in continuing education seminars presented by the CLTA, and ALTA and Fidelity Nat'l Title Group.

As well as participating in industry education events, Pitman conducts foreclosure and REO title training presentations for lenders and servicers such as GMAC/Ocwen, Nationstar, HSBC, Select Portfolio Services, Specialized Title Services, PennyMac, J.P. Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Citi, and Capital One and REO asset management companies, such as Integrated Asset Services. He lives in Newport Beach, CA, with wife Kelly and their feline accomplice, Casey.
