UTA is holding a fun networking event at the Irvine Improv on June 24th. Join your friends and colleagues from UTA for an evening of laughter and great food. Dinner includes an appetizer, a burger/sandwich with fries and a desert of your choice. Then we’ll enjoy the hilarious stand-up performance of Laura Kightlinger.

Laura Kightlinger stands out as a true original in the world of comedy. Her individual style and vision echoes through the incredibly popular characters on the hit NBC series “Will and Grace.” In addition to her title as consulting producer on “Will and Grace,” she’s earned a recurring role on the show as “Nurse Shelia.” Her first book, entitled “Quick Shots of False Hope,” was described by the New York Times Book Review as a “memorable, disturbing and darkly comic debut.”  In addition to writing for “Will and Grace” for the past five years, Laura has written for “Roseanne,” “Dennis Miller Live” and “Saturday Night Live,” where she was also a featured performer. Laura was a cast member of Roseanne’s sketch comedy series “Saturday Night Special” on Fox.

Dinner stars at 6:30 pm; Show starts at 8:00 pm. Enjoy the best burgers in OC served by Umami and the best comedians in OC served by the Irvine Improv.
